Fastest American Pool Speed Jump Shooter over Pool Balls: Rocky Lane breaks
world record
MACAU, China -- Mr. Rocky Lane, a world titleholder from New Zealand, was invited as coach for the Macau Billiard Association to raise young players and also to improve the game of pool locally; Lane renewed his own world record of jump shooting and potting 15 pool balls from the table from 14.16 seconds to 11.29 seconds, according to the World Record Academy.

The Guinness World Records world record for the largest pool tournament
consisted of 5,361 participants in the 8-Ball division of the 2010 APA
National Team Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, from 19 to 28 August
2010.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the youngest
player to win a pool World Championship; it
is Chia-ching Wu (Taiwan, b. 9 February 1989) aged 16 years 121 days when he
won the title at Kaohsiung, Taiwan on 10 June 2005.
Two judges, Mr. Sean Kilker and Mr. Nicholas Leong were present to ensure that there was no movement of hurdle balls, the jumped balls had satisfied height requirement and hurdle balls were cleared adequately.
Rocky is a keen Pool Player who plays Competition Pool Tournaments in
different parts of the world.
After being in the game since the 1970s, Lane , who has been off tour for
around three years, said he hoped to cultivate more young people to play
pool.
"It is much easier, actually, pool is taking off in Macau now, you can see
most bars in Taipa have pools."
"American pool" differentiates from British-style pool include larger
pockets to accommodate the bigger balls, and diamond system markings on the
rails.
Mr. Rocky Lane's tour was sponsored by: Air Macau, Otex World
Corporation and the Macau Billiard Association.
